Black River Safari:
We began our journey with a peaceful boat tour along the Black River. The knowledgeable guide made the experience both educational and exciting, pointing out native birds, mangroves, and yes — even crocodiles! It was a great way to see the natural beauty and rich biodiversity of Jamaica’s South Coast.
YS Falls:
Next up was YS Falls, a true paradise tucked away in the countryside. The cascading waterfalls were stunning, and the property was beautifully maintained. There were options to swim, zipline, or simply relax and take in the view. Lifeguards and guides were helpful and friendly, making sure everyone was safe and having a good time. Don’t forget your water shoes!
Appleton Estate Rum Tour:
We ended the day with a visit to the Appleton Rum Estate — a must for any rum lover. The tour was fascinating, offering a look into the traditional and modern methods of rum production. The tasting session was the perfect finale. The staff was welcoming and passionate about their craft, making the experience both fun and informative.
