Rockland Bird Sanctuary Montego Bay
Located in the beautiful hills of Anchovy in St James is the Rockland Bird Sanctuary which offers tranquility and inner peace, you can get up close and personal while hand-feeding the many different types of birds living on the sanctuary. With the various types of birds living there such as; the hummingbirds, American Redstarts, Caribbean Dove, Northern Mockingbirds, Jamaican Orioles, and many more different species coming there to feed.
You can hand-feed the Doctor Bird which is Jamaica’s National Bird, as well as other fascinating feathered creatures. Enjoy the enchanting humming of the birds and be fascinated by the beauty of the sprawling meadows which give you an unreal feeling. See the Greater Antillean Bullfinch and Bananaquit hopped around its feeders.
Our tours can be customized and may be reserved with us from your hotel/villa or any cruise ship pier in Jamaica.
- Rockland Bird Sanctuary is about 30 minutes from any Montego Bay.
- Rockland Bird Sanctuary is about 1 hour and fifteen minutes from Negril.
- Rockland Bird Sanctuary is about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Ocho Rios.
